Karlville presents filling solution for pre-made pouch business

Karlville Development Group has introduced the RFS Pro (Rotary Fill Seal) to compliment its pouch converting line.

With single and twin lane availability, the RFS Pro can produce at 20 - 100 pouches per minute with a fill capacity of anywhere from 80 - 3,000 grams. The RFS Pro Single Lane fits in an area of no more than a 6' by 6' (3M x 3M) space and is a servo motor controlled machine with a quick changeover, no tool design. The RFS Pro has several different options available, including date coding, zipper opening and a wide variety of product filling systems.

The basic idea of the RFS Pro is to provide an alternative for our converters, so they can have it in their sales pitch to prevent their pre-made pouch customers from going to Form, Fill and Seal applications. The ultimate goal is having our customers use both the RFS Pro and the Spout Pro machines to help promote their pre-made pouch business. These two machines target roughly 60 per cent of the pouch market. From a business standpoint, it's pretty cut and dry.
