Kor Engineering to unveil finishing developments

At its booth, Kor will showcase its six-axis servo driven L Series machine. This 660mm (26in) width inspection slitter rewinder will be set up to run shrink films and flexible packaging at over 600m/min. 

During the event Kor will also unveil its low-cost S Series machine, a servo-driven 330mm (13in) inspection slitter rewinder for PS label applications. The demonstration unit will be equipped with an Erhadt+Leimer Smartscan vision inspection system. 

Finally, Kor will demonstrate its new auto positioning rotary shear slitter module. This unit can be retrofitted and installed new to most Kor rewinder models. This system reduces set-up and changeover time, while improving accuracy and repeatability of slitting while promoting operator safety and ergonomics, says the company.
