Linoprint DriveLine F at Interpack

Heidelberg’s digital printing system is an inkjet solution for inline and nearline integration in packaging lines, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical engineering industries. It offers a high level of flexibility and production reliability for individual and integrated printing of blister foils.
The Linoprint UV inkjet printing system offers variable, high-quality printing of labels, aluminum blister and plastic foils, and folding boxes. The new DriveLine F is specifically designed for sensitive pharmaceutical packaging, and enables manufacturers and packaging companies to integrate digital inkjet printing into their production lines for safe and reliable printing of individualized packaging materials.
DriveLine F adapts to the speed of the packaging line and handles both intermittent and continuous operation. Static and variable content can also be printed in high quality on the back of blister packs or foils. The system uses specially developed UV inks with low migration potential and excellent set-off properties that cure with the required sealing strength immediately after printing.
An integrated print control system ensures layout and input data match in production, which guarantees fault free foils. DriveLine F processes aluminum, composite and plastic foil in widths up to 320 mm, and is capable of processing widths up to 280 mm and thicknesses ranging from 15 µm to 100 µm at 360 dpi resolution. An optional second print head allows higher resolution (720 dpi), two-color or redundant printing.
