Mexican company unveils new plate mounters

Guadalajara-based eGraf Equipos unveiled two plate mounters at the recent Expográfica 2019, already commented on for their high precision and ergonomic design by industry representatives.

Due to high cost and accessibility on the local market, precision in plate mounting has been one of the downfalls of the Mexican industry, according to eGraf Equipos. The OEM addressed this area, and based on its previously developed model, released two new plate mounters: MDG-400 and MDG-500.

Both pieces of equipment feature an innovative zero-backlash fastening system, which enables high precision and repeatability of mounting, as well as a unique fixed distance positioning system keeping the plate always at the same distance from the cameras.

These two new systems offer up to 25 micron precision and repeatability between the different cylinders.
