Michelman introduces new primer at Labelexpo Americas 2016
Michelman will introduce Michem Flex R1927, a versatile new primer that is suitable for use with a broad range of conventional inks including UV, water-based and solvent-based. It can be used on BOPP film, BOPET film, PVC film, aluminum foil and paper substrates, and can be used with flexographic, gravure and screen printers.
Michem Flex R1927 is effective with most conventional inks and reduces primer inventory costs, as well as the labor required to swap out primers. It is optically clear and is easy to apply to the substrate. Test results show excellent rub and water resistance, and outstanding ink adhesion of cyan, magenta, yellow and black.
Michem Flex R1927 is part of a family of water-based Michem Flex primers formulated specifically for printing and packaging applications. Michelman will feature Michem Flex R1927 and other industry leading solutions at Labelexpo Americas 2016, which is being held September 13-15, 2016 at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
