Michelman to present new off-line DigiPrime primers at Dscoop EMEA 6

DigiPrime 6611 and DigiPrime 4462 are both environmentally-friendly, water-based primers formulated for use with HP Indigo presses. They are suitable for use on paper and synthetics.

DigiPrime 6611 can be applied near-line, and produces improved ink adhesion on flexible packaging substrates including synthetics and most types of film. It is said to exhibit good lamination bond strength for flexible packaging applications. DigiPrime 6611 is applicable when corona is not available or when drying capacity is limited.

DigiPrime 4462 is an off-line primer that produces ‘excellent’ ink adhesion and can be used on a wide variety of substrates printed on HP Indigo digital presses. It is said to be particularly effective for demanding applications, such as labeling on personal care and consumer products that are continually exposed to water and moisture. DigiPrime 4462 is also suitable for food contact applications.

Michelman will also be highlighting its selection of in-line primers for use on HP Indigo 20000, 30000 and 6000 digital presses Dscoop Print Experience in Lyon, France.
