Monadnock Paper Mills has launched its Envi PC 100 wine label. This new labelstock features the highest percentage of post-consumer recycled content possible and is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to ensure materials have been responsibly sourced through a third-party verified chain of custody. In addition, Envi PC 100 is claimed to be process chlorine free and manufactured carbon neutral using 100 percent renewable electricity.

‘Envi PC 100 Wine Label was specifically developed to meet the needs of the wine industry,’ said Monadnock marketing director David Lunati. ‘In addition to a strong environmental profile, vintners want a labelstock that performs – delivering high-resolution printing, stamping and embossing while maintaining its integrity throughout the rigors of the supply chain. It also must pass the ice bucket test. Wet strength is a critical characteristic.’

Envi PC 100 Wine Label is durable (even when wet), prints crisply and accepts deep, multi-level die embossing and foil stamping. Durability is achieved through fiber selection and unique wet strength chemistry, says the company.
