This is Multitec’s first exhibition after its partnership with Multigraph, the trading division of Manugraph. The company represents the Indian machine manufacturer in the Middle East and Africa.

Multitec has completed the installation of its first press in Kenya at Modern Lithographic printing firm. It is an 8-color all UV press with hot air. Other features include cold foil unit, turnbar, delam, relam and chilling units for shrink sleeves.

Amit Ahuja, Multitec managing director, said: ‘Modern Lithographic visited the factory in Faridabad and printed a couple of his jobs including the wraparound labels. He was satisfied with the performance and quality of the press.’

Happy with the partnership with Multigraph, Ahuja added: ‘Multigraph has a wide network in the Middle East and Africa that increases our reach in that market. We are currently training the Multigraph engineers and eventually they will handle the post sales service of the machine in that region.’

Sanjay Shah, vice chairman and managing director of Manugraph India, and director at Multigraph, said: ‘We are happy to be associated with Multitec. Indian machine manufacturers are doing very well overseas. I have six customers from the Middle East and Africa coming to see the presses at Multitec on the first day of the show.’

Multitec has sold 15 presses in 2016 to date that has taken the company’s total of installed presses to 171 since 2008.
