Sato releases PV3, new mobile and durable 3-inch thermal printer

Sato America has added a new, durable PV3 printer to its mobile thermal line up offering new economical option for customers seeking large roll capacity, long battery life, versatile connectivity and built-in dispenser.

The PV3 is built with durable polycarbonate and rubber overmolding, and, according to Sato, can withstand drop impacts of up to 6.9 feet. Despite its heavy-duty build, the new printer weighs only 1.5 pounds. It offers printing speeds up to 5 inches per second as well as connectivity across multiple networks.

Its water resistance and dust proof body make it ideal for warehouses, food safety, and retail locations. The PV3 also features easy to use interface, and long-lasting battery life that will power operations through an entire shift and comes with Sato’s full service and support.

‘We believe that the PV3 is the printing solution that users have been searching for,’ said Goro Yumiba, chairperson and CEO at SATO America. ‘Our newest economical compact 3-inch mobile printer provides quick and easy drop-in media loading, comes standard with a built-in dispenser and multiple connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wireless LAN and USB with Android and iOS compatibility, to provide seamless integration across all applications.’
