Simec launches updated sleeve handling system

Simec Group, a manufacturer of anilox rolls and accessories for the flexo industry, has launched a new version of its sleeve handling and storage system Revolver Self.  

With the Revolver, sleeves can be easily transferred from printing press to cleaning equipment and then to the warehouse, avoiding damage. According to Simec statistics, careful handling and storage of the sleeves can result in a 25 percent reduction in refurbishment costs. Revolver is supplied with safety rings to fit into each sleeve end once the sleeves are removed from the printing machine.

The objectives are to make the anilox stock safer and more efficient and to ensure high and consistent performances of the printing lines over time in order to optimize our customers’ profitability,’ said Emilio Della Torre, general manager of Simec.
