Xennia introduces Aquamarine Digital Printing Solution - for Cartons and Secondary Packaging

Xennia’s innovative Aquamarine digital inkjet printing system offers a complete production solution to print full colour graphics, logos, barcodes and other data onto the sides of rigid box and carton packaging, providing high performance and quality with UV cured inks.
 
This flexible, digital system is designed for cost effective printing of rigid secondary packaging in short customized runs, and prints onto two opposing vertical sides of rigid packaging such as EPS boxes, chill boxes, bottle crates, transit packs, plastic trays and other secondary packaging.

The system can use UV or solvent based inks, with a print swathe height of up to 120 mm and line speed of up to 40 m/min, equating to over 1,800 boxes per hour using 800 mm boxes. Automated maintenance and variable data printing capability are also available. The system includes a substrate transport conveyor, and can be used standalone or integrated into a production line.
