PE firm completes ÅR Packaging acquisition

Founded in 2011 through the merger of A&R Carton and Flextrus, ÅR Packaging is a European packaging company with sales of approximately 560 million EUR (630 million USD) and 2200 employees across 17 factories in 9 countries. The company has performed strongly in recent years and is now well placed for the next phase of its development.

The deal was revealed earlier this year, as reported here, with CVC Capital Partners having plans to grow the business organically and through acquisitions.
