Akronn makes senior management appointments

Akronn Industries has made two senior management appointments, with Raflee Abdullah appointed as the company’s chief operating officer and Theo Wilting named chief executive officer of Akronn Sdn Bhd, Malaysia.

Akronn is a silicone release liner and coating business launched last year by Stellar Films Group, of Malaysia,

Abdullah joins Akronn Industries from Chemical Company of Malaysia, where he was director of the company’s Fertilizers division.  

Wilting most recently served as business development director for Stellar Films Malaysia, and has many years of experience in the release liner market in management roles with leading global manufacturers.

Akronn has also announced a significant expansion of its product range, including new 'technically-advanced' film liners, such as a 30µm MOPP, 19µm MPET, and 40 µm and 50µm BOPP – all of which are available one- and two-side coated, and offering different release levels.
