Fujifilm forms new structure to support CodeStream product line

Fujifilm Hunt Chemicals USA has appointed Steven Coomber to the position of marketing manager, business development group. Coomber has formerly held a number of US and international marketing posts in the graphics and imaging industries. His initial focus will be exclusively on CodeStream, the newly launched invisible coating for laser marking.

In a related development, Fujifilm Hunt Chemicals has restructured its CodeStream sales team to more effectively introduce these products to the packaging and label market. Within the sales group, the customer base has been divided into two specialist segments – converters and brand owners.

Brad Phillips, who has been in the graphics area at Fujifilm for over eighteen years,  is now heading up the sales responsibilities for converters.

Rob Marusa, with over twenty-five years experience in the laser and coding arena, is in charge of introducing CodeStream to the brand owners in the industry. Marusa was formerly commercial director with Domino Lasers.

‘With our new organization in place, we are in a strong position to optimally serve our customers and markets,’ said Scott Clouston, VP & GM of Fujifilm Hunt Chemicals. ‘The strength of Fujifilm has always been the winning combination of our technology, high quality products and technical support. The CodeStream situation is no exception.’
