Hörner-Maraß named MD of manroland web systems

- In the position, he will act as speaker of the management board of manroland web systems

Eckhard Hörner-Maraß has been named as the new managing director of manroland web systems, succeeding Uwe Lüders.

 

In the position, he will act as speaker of the management board of manroland web systems.

 

Hörner-Maraß has more than 25 years of experience in leading positions across the engineering industry. He started his career in 1986 at the C. Haushahn Group; in 1995 he switched to the management board of Jenbacher Energiesysteme GmbH.

 

Four years later he was appointed to the management board of Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH.

 

Since 2002, he has served as managing director, and since 2005 spokesman, of Holzma Plattenaufteiltechnik GmbH, a company of the Homag Group, which manufactures woodworking machinery.

 

Lüders, who is chairman of the executive board of Possehl, the company that acquired the web-fed operations of the insolvent manroland AG earlier this year, will remain as managing director of manroland web systems but will withdraw from the operative business.

 

Lüders said: ‘I am glad that with Eckhard Hörner-Maraß we found an entrepreneurial managing director who is going to lead and bring forward the manroland web systems together with the established management team.'
