Herma Self-adhesive Materials strengthens international sales efforts with appointment

Herma Self-adhesive Materials has appointed Anncharlott Michel to its international sales team, who is now managing customer accounts in Scandinavia, Southern Europe and Central Eastern Europe.

Anncharlott Michel graduated from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in 2015 with a degree in business administration

Michel graduated from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in 2015 with a degree in business administration. Herma was her partner company over the course of her studies, through which she thoroughly got to know several Herma departments, concentrating on international sales for her Bachelor’s thesis.

‘During that time, I was able to gain thorough insights into the work of sales area managers,’ she said. ‘This motivated me to stay with the department after graduating. Like everywhere else at Herma, service quality and quick responses are a top priority here.’

Herma runs an established trainee program and Harald Wallner, international sales director at Herma Self-adhesive Materials, said: ‘At our Filderstadt and Deizisau locations, we are currently training approximately 50 apprentices and students from dual study courses in 13 professions. We train according to our hiring needs and can therefore offer the vast majority of our graduates a long-term perspective with Herma.

‘We very much appreciate dual study courses because they combine hands-on experience in a company with academic education. Since service quality is a high priority for us, this combination means a great deal to us.’
