Lecta launches Adestor Clear on Clear label

The new label offers maximum transparency for sectors such as cosmetics and food and beverages.

Lecta Self-Adhesives has expanded its range of film materials with the launch of Adestor Clear on Clear, a new label that incorporates a next-generation adhesive with maximum transparency, ideal for applications with high visual impact and complex technical requirements.

Adestor Clear on Clear combines a polypropylene facestock, a new A292F adhesive with superior clarity and a PET liner to create an value-added for labels that seek to convey a premium image. This combination delivers a visual effect similar to direct screen printing on packaging while maintaining the efficiency and flexibility of self-adhesive technology.

The new A292F water-based acrylic adhesive has two standout features: high transparency and adhesion performance on a wide variety of substrates, including glass, HDPE, PP and PET. Meanwhile, the PP facestock incorporates a top-coated finish that ensures optimal printability in the most commonly used technologies.

With its mechanical properties, the PET liner offers reliable and consistent performance on high-speed labeling lines, even in the most demanding production environments.

In an environment where purchasing decisions are made in a matter of seconds, an attractive label makes all the difference. The Clear on Clear label (a transparent label for transparent packaging) addresses the increasing demand for this type of solution in sectors such as cosmetics and food and beverages, where design and transparency play a key role in setting a brand apart from the crowd and influencing consumers' choices at the point of sale.

The entire Adestor range is manufactured in accordance with the ISO 14001 and EMAS environmental standards, the ISO 50001 energy management standard, the ISO 9001 quality standard, and the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety standard.
