Japan Printing Machinery Association appoints chairman

Iwao Miyakoshi of Miyakoshi Printing Machinery has been appointed as chairman of the Japan Printing Machinery Association (JPMA).
JPMA is an industrial association whose members are manufacturers of printing, bookbinding and paper converting machinery and related equipment in Japan. JPMA is a member of Global Print, an international federation of printing machinery associations from ten leading countries.
In October next year, the association will hold the Japan Graphic Arts Show (JGAS) 2013.
‘At JGAS 2013, many new products and technologies which were announced at Drupa 2012 will be showcased, one year on, as more finalized systems,’ said Iwao Miyakoshi. ‘We will do our best to promote JGAS 2013 to international and domestic visitors by planning valuable programs on digital printing, environmental sustainability and other key areas for the printing industry.’
