Raul Matos, VP of sales, said, ‘We are fabricating shorter, simpler, and less complex pouch machines. Our machine is half the length of most machines that gives us a great advantage for stretchy materials. With PE material, we can reach similar production efficiency as large machines made for long runs, on a compact, quick changeover machine. For this reason and market demands, we are creating this new task force inside our business development team to develop recyclability as a standard in future.

Candedo will be instrumental in working with key industry players, suppliers and converters, as well as brand owners for the development of recyclable platforms within our pouch converting machine business. The plan is to centralize all know-how via Candedo for the development and sales of our pouch machines for recyclable applications.’
