Nuova Gidue announces new structure
Series of appointments and promotions designed to prepare for growth

Nuova Gidue has appointed Matteo Cardinotti as its new managing director in an effort to prepare the company for future growth.
Cardinotti has been working with Nuova Gidue for many years as the head of its research and development department.
Over the last two years he has overseen the re-organization of all the company’s operations departments to improve and develop all Nuova Gidue commercial strategies more quickly and consistently.
Cardinotti will work closely with Maurizio Trecate (pictured, top), Nuova Gidue’s vice-president of sales, who took up the position in September. Trecate has experience in both Italy and Asia, and has served in senior roles at Cerutti, Flexotecnica and Shanghai Bernal Yawa.
He will also work with Cristina Toffolo, who is now vice-president of marketing, and the Italian press manufacturer’s new vice-president of finance Magda Ciapponi.
Cardinotti said: ‘I am very pleased to have this opportunity to lead what is already a very successful team and we are absolutely determined to be leading manufacturer of printing and converting solutions for the packaging industry.’
‘I will also be introducing new pre- and post-sales initiatives to ensure our customers can enjoy the highest level of support which is so important to our ambitions to be the number one brand in the label market.’
Nuova Gidue has recently bolstered its printing machine line with the introduction of the Digital Flexo and Excellence technologies.
Both were on show at Labelexpo Europe 2013, where Nuova Gidue also featured as part of the Package Printing Workshop feature area, where it showed a Combat M3 flexo press with Digital Flexo being used to print flexible packaging.
Federico d’Annunzio, president of Nuova Gidue, said: ‘We believe the new positions will complement our existing organization and help us to prepare for our future growth in the market.
‘A new era in our industry is beginning, and with this great team and the latest revolutionary innovations, we are sure that Nuova Gidue will confirm its presence in the elite of the companies serving the labels and packaging industries.’
