DuPont partners with Marmara University for education program

As part of the 35^th anniversary celebration of DuPont Cyrel, DuPont Packaging Graphics organized a technical seminar at Marmara University in Turkey. At the seminar, Associate Professor Dr Efe Gençoglu of Marmara University was awarded the ‘DuPont 2009 New Horizons’ award in recognition of second edition of his book on flexo printing.  

In 2006, DuPont started a cooperative effort with Marmara University to educate the packaging sector and established the DuPont Technology Center in Printing department to apply advance flexographic printing technologies. Full renovation of the technology center and establishment of high-technology flexo plate manufacturing line underlines the support given by DuPont to flexo education. 

The ‘New Horizons’ award, initiated in 2007 on the occasion of the International Grand Prix Cyrel held in Valencia, Spain, acknowledges individuals and organizations for their valuable contributions to the flexographic and package printing industries.
