Iggesund extends distribution in the UK
Iggesund has extended the availability of its Invercote and Incada paperboard products in the UK via distribution agreements with merchants Antalis and Elliott Baxter.

In addition, Iggesund has introduced warehousing and sheeting of Invercote at a distribution center in the UK.
Iggesund manufactures Incada at its mill in Workington, Cumbria but until now service for Invercote, which is made in Iggesund, Sweden, has been managed from the Scandinavian country, but to increase availability the company has decided to both sheet and stock Invercote in the UK.
Iggesund is conducting an intensive campaign to upgrade both its delivery service and other forms of service in several geographical regions of the world. This includes new distributor partnerships in several European countries, and the recent extension of the availability of Invercote in North America with an inventory position and sheeting capabilities in Pomona, California. The company has also expanded its US sales team.
Brendan O’Sullivan, sales manager for converters in the UK and Ireland at Iggesund, said: ‘We’re advancing our position in the UK. This means that both our merchants and our direct customers can count on better availability for Invercote than before.’
Christina Törnquist, Iggesund Paperboard logistics director, added: ‘As competition gets tougher, the service that supports our products becomes more and more important.
‘We’ve worked for a number of years now to improve our delivery service with more than just shorter lead times. These improvements also help to keep both costs and fossil carbon emissions down.’
