Optimum Group and Bio4life enter strategic partnership

Dutch Optimum Group, consisting of 14 converters from the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and Germany, has signed a partnership agreement with Bio4life, which became its exclusive supplier of compostable labels and materials.

Bio4Life is a Dutch producer of certified compostable self-adhesive materials. The basis of the compostable materials lies in the application of the BioTAK adhesive, which is produced by sister company SAP. Bio4Life has internationally recognized certificates from DinCertco and TÜV-Austria and supplies its products to distributors and printers worldwide. 

Bio4Life will supply certified materials to Optimum Group and support obtaining co-certificates for specific projects. 

‘The knowledge, expertise, and certifications (EN13432) acquired by Bio4life and the expertise and versatility of Optimum Group form the basis for further development of new sustainable applications. This collaboration strengthens the position of Optimum Group in the field of biodegradable label products and gives Bio4Life access to a versatile machine park,’ said the company in a statement.
