Torraspapel unveils campaign to promote sustainability of paper

Torraspapel has launched a campaign, called ‘The Paper Effect’, to promote the sustainability of paper and to encourage users to participate in reforestation projects.
The company calls paper ‘a shining example of sustainable development’, produced from a natural, renewable raw material harvested from responsibly managed forests that serve as major carbon dioxide sinks. ‘It is produced in an efficient, environmentally-friendly process and, when used, is recyclable and biodegradable,’ explains the company.
The campaign’s website, www.thepapereffect.com, provides information about European paper consumption and reuse.
Torraspapel also offers the possibility of collaborating on a reforestation project in conjunction with the Spanish NGO AccióNatura. After filling out a form, participants will have the opportunity to add their name to the list of collaborators and will receive, at the end of the campaign, a personalized diploma certifying their involvement in the reforestation project.
