Systems Labelling targets wine label market

UK-based converter Systems Labelling has reported its successful entry into the wine label market, producing a broad range of stocks that include cast, metalized, clear and textured finishes.
The company says self-adhesive labels will offer a number of benefits to the wine bottling industry when compared to standard wet glue, such as premium quality and a tactile print finish, and improved label application efficiency.
Sales director Tony Exford commented: ‘Uniquely all our wine stocks are supplied on clear PET liner which reduces snapping, paper dust and consistently releases labels for high speed application.’
Release properties have been specifically developed and trialed to achieve optimum performance when applied onto glass bottles at high speed.
Managing director Gwyn Bouch added: ‘Our core strength to innovate and solve problems is the platform for our continued success. This expertise enables the business to enter new markets and challenge the status quo head on (wet glue labels in this instance) whilst delivering added value through faster application speeds and improved quality.’
