Tenza Technologies increases warehouse space
Tenza Technologies has increased its warehouse space by 70 percent. The company recently commissioned its brand new warehousing space at its manufacturing site in Saxmundham, Suffolk, to support further its continued sales growth.
The investment involved the renovation and upgrading of an existing area of the manufacturing facility and, now with access to a total of 16,000sqft (1486m²) of warehouse space, including the additional 7000sqft (650m²) expansion, is said to have greatly enhanced Tenza’s ability to facilitate customer demand, thanks to greater flexibility with stock holding. Tenza suggests increasing personalization of many products as a reason for requiring more stock.
John Edwards, supply chain manager, Tenza, commented: ‘We now have the opportunity to fulfil more orders in less time – the market is demanding better lead times and ever improving levels of service.’
The investment is part of ongoing improvements to Tenza’s supply chain, which has also led to the recent appointment of both a supply chain manager and a manufacturing manager.
