Wink expands capacity in Neuenhaus

German die-cutting tool manufacturer Wink has extended its production plant in Neuenhaus by 1,400 sq meters. This will increase capacity as well as optimize the existing production processes.

‘This step was urgently needed so we could push forward on our course for growth’, said Alan de Natris, Wink’s managing director. ‘We can build on experienced and highly qualified employees here (at the Neuenhaus location), who provide great support on realizing the project’.

The new production hall has been built and technical works are said to be running at high speed. The next stage will be the installation of new machines developed specifically for Wink’s flexible die production and finishing. The existing production areas will then be gradually restructured and extended to further optimize workflow efficiency.

The implementation of new into the existing machinery creates a logistic challenge, as the running production may never stop completely. At the end of last year, the groundwork operations had already been started, and the sales department moved into newly designed offices. The new high-tech production is planned to be finalized and fully live in autumn.
