UPM Raflatac launches wash-off adhesive for wine labeling

UPM Raflatac has developed RP 44, a wash-off adhesive for labeling wine in returnable bottles that complements the company’s permanent RP 30 adhesive.

RP 44 tolerates fluctuations in temperature and humidity on the bottle line and during storage, and is said to offer good water resistance in the ice bucket.

RP 44 is available across a good selection of WSA-treated face papers and all combinations with RP 44 in UPM Raflatac’s wine labeling range have been tested for successful wash-off performance following a variety of real-life bottle storage conditions.
