Schreiner PrinTrust is to showcase the latest generation of its NFC-Sticker at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona

Simply attached to a mobile phone, Schreiner PrinTrust said the NFC-Sticker turns any handset into a cashless means of payment.

Mobile World Congress 2014 takes place in Barcelona on February 24-27, and aims to reflect the way mobile telecommunication is transforming communication, advancing the next payment systems that alters commerce and expanding ways to interact.

As Schreiner PrinTrust fulfills the requirements of MasterCard´s Global Vendor Certification Program, the NFC-Sticker label can be used like a contactless credit card at PayPass terminals worldwide.

The flexible and thin NFC-Sticker is based on proven technologies for contactless credit cards and ensures reliable and secure NFC functionality within the payment infrastructure. Mobile phones, which are always within reach, are particularly well suited devices for carrying the sticker, Schreiner said.

Due to its special shielding layer the sticker delivers reliable performance even on metal housings, while the design ensures short transaction times and long reading ranges.

The NFC-Sticker is also suitable for customer loyalty programs such as the collection of bonus points, for admittance, as tickets for public transportation, parking facilities or events, as well as for identification purposes such as proof of age.

The NFC-Sticker can be customized as needed, for instance in terms of the chip, layout or top-layer. Standard personalization is possible by embedding in a carrier card.
