Contiweb strengthens sales organization for growth into new markets

Contiweb is enlarging its EMEA sales team as part of an ongoing strategy of diversification and expansion, from the company’s traditional heat-set web offset market into digital inkjet, and packaging and label segments.

Contiweb’s invigorated sales team will be led by Rutger Jansen as sales director

Contiweb’s invigorated sales team will be led by Rutger Jansen as sales director, who has supported sales for the company since 1990, including as director of sales and service under Goss Contiweb.

Other key appointments include: Rob Bosman, area sales manager, who is responsible for Central, Eastern and Northern Europe territories, including Germany, UK, Scandinavia, Benelux, Switzerland and Austria; Jennifer N’Guyen, area sales manager, responsible for France, Southern Europe and Northern Africa; Davide Pomati, business development, who will continue in his current role in Southern Europe and Northern Africa; Andreas Pohl, account manager, also continuing in his current role in Central and Eastern Europe territories; and Richard Miedema, product manager for Contiweb Thallo, another who is continuing in his current role and supporting worldwide sales channels

Sales channels throughout the rest of the world will remain unchanged.

In addition to the reinforced sales team, Rien van Tetering has joined as process manager for Contiweb Thallo.

Bert Schoonderbeek, Contiweb managing director, said: ‘With the growing trend and customer demand for personalization and customization, technological developments in different sectors, and the consolidation of printing companies around the world, the borders between markets are becoming less distinct and have started to overlap.

‘This is the perfect time to revitalize our operations and ensure we communicate the incredible opportunities that Contiweb products offer to print operators of all sizes. We hope this will give our customers throughout EMEA and around the world a clear point of contact for our team. These changes will also empower us to compete in the markets that will drive growth and serve customers to their best advantage.’
