This new MBS model, which features a right-angle turnbar, requires only 1,700mm (67in) of floorspace in the running direction.

Gavin Rittmeyer, VP sales and marketing, commented: ‘The vertical festoons offer many advantages including the ability to orient machines into unique footprints. This appears to create space for end users where they thought it was impossible to fit in automation.’

The combination of the space-saving MBS and Martin LRD rewinder displayed at the show gave a book-end presentation requiring the smallest footprint for full-featured automation for label presses.

Martin also premiered 1/12th scale models of its machines for various industries beyond labels.
