Mingli general manager Qian Xuebin commented: ‘At present, 70-80 percent of our products are made using letterpress technology. Letterpress relies heavily on manual work. With the continuous increasing of labor costs, letterpress is losing its competitiveness.

‘Flexo equipment has obvious advantages in automation degree, stability and production efficiency, especially in reducing the production cost for label converters.’

Mingli’s factory covers more than 6000 sqm with more than 100 employees. Annual output value reaches 50 million RMB (US$7.3 million). At present, 70 percent of products are film labels that are widely used in the sanitary industry such as sanitary pads, wet tissues and daily chemical industry.
