The NB 330 is a CE-certified, upgraded version of the semi-rotary die-cutting machine from HassleFree Technologies, and was launched at Labelexpo Europe 2013. This display unit was sold to SARL AiREP Etiquettes.

Marie Salerne, owner of SARL AiREP Etiquettes, said: ‘This machine offers many opportunities for production in minimum time with minimum waste. An easy to use and reliable design, this new investment allows us to consider the future of digital more calmly while expanding our production capacity.’

Salerne and her team challenged the machine with over 20 different tricky cutting jobs of different shapes and sizes during installation, and tested both the semi-rotary and full-rotary mode on different substrates successfully.

HassleFree Technologies has also announced a distribution agreement in the UK with LPP Ltd, which will now be its agent for the UK and Ireland. It is in the process of signing further distribution agreements in Portugal and Spain, and is continuing to search for a distribution partner in the US.

The unit SARL AiREP Etiquettes purchased at Labelexpo Europe 2013 encountered several logistics hurdles on its journey from India to Belgium as, despite being shipped on time, missed its flight and surface connections.

Anuj Bhargava, chief executive officer of Kumar Labels, said: ‘We had almost lost hope to showcase the machine but managed to receive the machine at 9:30pm the night before the show opened at our stand.’

Bhargava added: ‘We had over 100 enquiries, with at least 20 percent serious buyers.  Visitors appreciated the compact size, high accuracy of cutting registration and quick set-up possibilities. The visitors were pleased that we displayed the real performance of the machine at the show and not just ran one long comfortable job. It enforced their confidence in the equipment.’
