Fedrigoni launches wash-off label for wine and spirits
Company targets glass circularity with adhesive designed for bottle reuse.

Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives North America has introduced a wash-off label targeting glass circularity in the wine, spirits and craft beer sectors, combining durability in challenging environments with clean detachment during the washing process for bottle reuse.
The product features the company's FW8000 wash-off adhesive and Sorolla H+O WS facestock, offering performance in conditions from refrigeration to ice buckets while enabling labels to detach cleanly during washing.
'Circular design is no longer optional, it's essential,' commented Melissa Harton, marketing manager North America. 'With our wash-off, wineries and beverage brands can maintain the luxurious look consumers expect, while enabling efficient glass reuse and minimizing waste.'
The Sorolla H+O WS / FW8000 / 1.2 mil PET construction maintains label appearance throughout its lifecycle. Labels release fully in an alkaline bath at 176°F with no adhesive residue, leaving bottles ready for recirculation.
Fedrigoni's wash-off label can be paired with partners like Revino, whose bottle reuse system handles collection, washing and redistribution of wine bottles.
