IMDA opens 2026 awards competition entries
In-mold labeling, decorating and electronics competition accepts entries until July.
The In-Mold Decorating Association has opened entries for its 2026 Awards Competition, accepting submissions across in-mold labeling, in-mold decorating and in-mold electronics categories from companies worldwide.
Entries are judged on overall design and complexity, integration of the in-mold element into the part or package, functionality, innovation in materials and processes, and manufacturing difficulty. The competition is open to label printers, molders, OEMs, brand owners and automation, equipment and consumables suppliers, with no IMDA membership required to enter.
Early bird entries are accepted until June 15, 2026, with the final submission deadline set for July 1. Winners will be announced at the Plastic Product Decorating Summit in Sugar Land, Texas, on September 1-3, 2026.
'From label printers, molders, OEMs and brand owners to the automation, equipment and consumables suppliers who serve them, the IMDA Awards Competition provides a way to celebrate the accomplishments of those along every step of the in-mold production chain,' said Dianna Brodine, executive director of the IMDA.
Entry details are available online.
