Martin Automatic wins more friends in Asia

The recent All in Print China expo offered Martin Automatic an opportunity to demonstrate its technology in partnership with Taiyo Kikai, whose central impression (CI) letterpress machine on show was fitted with a Martin MBSC butt splicer and STR turret rewind. Martin also supplied an MBS butt splicer and LRD transfer rewind on a new Taiyo offset press.
Speaking for Martin Automatic, Gavin Rittmeyer, vice president of sales and marketing, complimented Shanghai Xinmin Taiyo Kikai Co on a successful exhibition, observing that both lines attracted a high level of attention from visitors.
‘Taiyo is forward thinking to market fully automated presses to its customers, and this reflects the company’s consideration of all aspects of its customer’s needs, including reduced downtime and waste, and maximum productivity.
'By fitting Martin Automatic roll changers, Taiyo is helping its customers to optimise their return on investment in a press line, and maintain an aggressive business model,’ Rittmeyer said.
