Troika offers free download of Anilox Management System

Troika Systems is offering a free download of its Anilox Management System, allowing printers to catalogue up to 24 aniloxes from their inventory and keep an awareness of their condition. Anilox condition, volume awareness and management are proven ways to achieve considerable savings by reducing press set up time and waste, says the company.
The introduction of the Anilox QC tools from Troika Systems five years ago led to the development of the Anilox Management System (AMS), requested by printers who wanted to reduce their costs, and implement or improve management of their anilox inventory. The AMS is an electronic record and database of the anilox inventory, with graphical data and a full history of each roll (volume, variance across a roll, depth, walls, wear). AMS can be used either for single sites or larger groups on a client/server basis.
The data can automatically be acquired from the Troika Anilox QC or manually entered from other methods of data collection.
‘Troika realized that many printers may want to try out the Anilox Management System and making it freely available to try on a press will immediately give a greater understanding of the benefits it provides. Having a detailed record of your anilox inventory is key to keeping costs down and managing the life of each roll,’ said Phil Hall, managing director.
‘By offering the ability to record the history of up to 24 anilox rolls we believe users will get a better understanding of the benefits of such detailed information and it will encourage users to consider adding extra modules to cover their whole anilox inventory and make further savings.’
