Steffen Haaga joins Cerm

Cerm has appointed Steffen Haaga as its new director of global business development

Labels and packaging MIS software specialist Cerm has appointed Steffen Haaga as its new director of global business development.

Haaga has extensive experience in the printing industry, having a proven track record of business development for Taopix’ photo-commerce platform and EFI’s European MIS systems before that.

‘It’s amazing to see how successful Cerm was over the last years, with just a few persons in sales and some limited marketing efforts,’ commented Haaga on his appointment. ‘I’m looking forward to sharing my experience with a team so dedicated to its product development, and together we can bring this hidden jewel to the world.’

The current management of Cerm acquired complete independence through a management buyout (MBO) from Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) in August 2020, aspiring to boost the worldwide expansion of its automation technologies for labels and packaging printers.

Geert Van Damme, Cerm’s managing director, commented: ‘One of the main intentions of our MBO out of the Heidelberg Group five months ago was to expand globally and extend our worldwide group of happy customers. With Steffen, we bring in a professional sales team builder experienced in MIS software. This represents another important and exciting step forward in the growth of our company.’
