Highcon seals Euclid European distribution agreement

Highcon and Staples Printing Systems Division have announced a multi-country agreement whereby Staples will market, sell, support and service the Highcon Euclid in Italy, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands and Greece.
 
In addition, Staples has purchased a Highcon Euclid, to be installed in the new center of excellence demonstration suite in Brussels in early November.
 
The Highcon Euclid was launched at Drupa, and is initially being sold to European markets before the Israel-based company looks to ramp up distribution across the globe.
 
Highcon has agreed deals with a further two distributors in Europe, which will see the Euclid digital cutting and creasing system available in 12 markets on the continent.
 
The Staples Printing Division is well represented in the folding carton sector with the subsidiary companies well known for their Heidelberg representation. In addition, the Staples group represents companies including, Kodak, 3M, HP, Adobe, Agfa and Canon, covering extensively pre-press, print and finishing products. The Staples subsidiary companies include Macchingraf in Italy, Tetterode in The Netherlands, Plantin in Belgium, Hartmann in Spain and BTI-Hellas in Greece.

The requirement for fast turnaround and short run cartons is growing and the Euclid is a unique and exciting solution.’
