Pulse names Graymills as US distributor

UK-based ink manufacturer Pulse Roll Label Products has named Graymills as its distributor in
The Digitech range of UV varnishes is aimed at users of HP Indigo digital presses and is available in gloss, matt, super matt and foil block-able formulations. The range also includes a UV primer that permits in-line UV printing or overprinting to accept digital inks. The formulations are suited to a wide range of substrates including coated paper, board, coated thermal paper, treated and primed synthetics as well as aluminum foils.
‘HP Indigo users know that there is an inherent incompatibility between the Indigo Electroinks and most UV curable coatings,’ said Ed Dedman, director of emerging technologies at Graymills. ‘They just don’t like each other. The new Digitech UV overprints for HP Indigo presses have been specially formulated to overcome incompatibility issues and exhibit excellent wetting, lay and adhesion over digital inks without the need to Corona treat or drive off residual imaging oil.’
