Montalvo upgrades converting equipment

The Montalvo Corporation, a manufacturer of industrial web control systems, has provided customers with a wide variety of upgrades on many pieces of converting equipment including narrow web presses, printing presses, corrugators, laminators, cutters, slitters, sheeters, filmers, extruders, waxers, die-cutters, embossers.

Ed Montalvo, president, said, ‘We have worked with many customers in numerous markets to accomplish these upgrades to their converting equipment. These improvements have increased productivity and also profitability for our customers.’

Pictured: A Montalvo customer’s machine, after being rebuilt – including a new unwind tension control system, upgrades brake, fan cover added to brake, old dancer system replaced with Montalvo ES live roller load cells, idler rollers as well as  hydraulic pump and motor inspected and repaired, all hoses, fittings, filters and gauges replaced where needed
