Label industry veteran Jeffrey Clifton passes away

Jeffrey Clifton, a longtime figure in the North American label industry, passed away on July 14. He was 59.

Clifton, of Saint Peters, Missouri, most recently owned and operated JC Flexo & Converting where he sold pre-owned narrow web flexo printing presses and converting equipment. He previously held positions in Mark Andy, Allied Gear, Magpowr and K Laser.

Former colleague at K Laser and friend J Michael Rivera said: ‘Jeff was an honest hardworking man and a true American. He was a fair individual that treated everyone as equals. He worked behind the scenes and did not seek the limelight. He just focused on getting things done. He will be sorely missed.’

Clifton was a devoted Christian and passionate hunter. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, three daughters, two step-children, two grandchildren and further extended family. Contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
