Label Manufacturers Association of India, LMAI, is organizing a seminar on digital label printing in Chennai.

Titled Digital Printing in Labels – The Way Forward, the event will have leading companies in the field of digital label printing making presentations on the different technologies offered by them.

While Vikram Saxena, sales general manager, labels and packaging, Xeikon will present on dry toner digital technology; Appadurai, country manager, HP Indigo will elaborate on liquid toner digital presses. Ajay RaoRane, assistant vice president, Digital Printing Solutions, Domino will explain about UV inkjet digital technology and Goutham Reddy, regional sales manager from Astronova will speak on water based digital technology.

Rajesh Nema, honorary secretary, LMAI, added: ‘Digital technology is constantly evolving and the association is committed to keep its members abreast of latest label printing technology. This event is a part of series of many such events to be held in the future.’

Harveer Sahni, member of board of directors, LMAI, said: ‘Label printing and converting is in an evolutionary phase of adopting digital printing. Therefore, we are pleased to organize this event that will benefit printer members of the association. Through this seminar, we hope to deliver value to printers who are evaluating a suitable digital printing technology for their business.’

The program is open to attend free of charge by printer members of LMAI.

The seminar will be held in the evening of December 20thfollowed by dinner and cocktails at ITC Welcome Hotel, Chennai.
