The sustainability of packaging is gaining in importance across all industries, including the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. With that in mind, August Faller has developed a multi-page adhesive label for glass, plastic, paper and cardboard containers – without the usual film lamination.

The label is made of paper and can be safely recycled, making more environmentally-friendly pharmaceutical packaging. The product was created at the Faller factory in Schopfheim, southern Baden-Württemberg, which specialises in the production of labels.

August Faller’s multi-page adhesive labels are available in versions from two to 32 pages – enabling pharmaceutical companies to accommodate a particularly large amount of information for doctors, pharmacists and patients on a minimal surface area. A combination of label and package inserts, they are available in two versions: as a booklet label in brochure form and as a folded leaflet label. Customers can also choose from a wide range of design options: for example, the labels can be produced in permanently adhesive, detachable or resealable form – and they can be equipped with perforations, detachable sides or various opening variants. If the customer wishes, Faller can also deliver the labels with Braille and a serial code pursuant to Directive 2011/62/EU.
