Enercon Industries Corporation, headquartered in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, USA, has introduced a new touch-screen PLC-based interface for its Compak 9000 power generator. The new design is claimed to save converters and extruders time and money with installation while providing advanced corona treating process control.

Standard pre-programmed options include watt density control, proportional speed control, station diagnostics and extensive fault logging. Enercon’s application engineers will also custom program customer specified options such as exhaust blower control and single button system start-up.

All options are incorporated through a single interface, and connecting to a remote control network is also made easy as the system supports a variety of communication protocols.
