Montalvo launches low profile U-25 load cell

The Montalvo Corporation, manufacturer of industrial web control systems, has announced the latest addition to its U-Series load cells: the U-25 series pillow block load cell.

The stainless steel, water resistant U-Series load cell has an IP-66 standard rating and optional IP-67 rating. Designed for smaller scale applications, it has a 675 lb. overload capacity and is available in four different load ranges – from 0.4 to 225 lbs.

Ed Montalvo, president, said, ‘This is a small, very sensitive load cell that has been designed for harsh environments. It is well suited to specialty converting processes, printing, tissue manufacture, and for use with nonwovens. The U-25 will retrofit certain competitive load cells without any change to bolt patterns.’
