Sato enhances mobile printing range with Pv4

The auto-ID and labeling specialist has designed the printer for on-the-go tasks across a wide range of fast-paced environments where performance and precision are crucial, such as logistics and distribution centers.

According to Sato, these sectors can fall victim to poor-quality and inaccurate labeling systems that can reduce customer satisfaction. The PV4 aims to combat these issues and provide professionals with significant efficiency, productivity, and sustainability gains across various market sectors.

This latest printer is lightweight, hard-wearing, and compact, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor environments. It also features multiple printing interface options to enable high-quality, quick, and cost-effective printing operations.

The PV4 can print at speeds of 5ips and maintains a print resolution of 203 DPI. It incorporates built-in third-party emulation software, which allows it to be seamlessly integrated into existing workflows without disruption to operations or productivity.

PV4 is the new product of the PV series and covers the 3in and 4in printer family. It can also print more information on labels compared to the PV3 or PW2NX mobile printers. 

The printer also significantly outperforms the company's MB4 printer with faster print speeds, better WIFI connection, and Bluetooth interface performance. The new printer has also been drop tested to 1.8 meters and has four times more battery capacity to provide a longer usage time.
