The new range has been developed as part of Taghleef’s initiative to manufacture materials that support the move from a linear to a more circular economy.

Under Taghleef’s Dynamic Cycle approach, reLife is a result of Ti’s expertise and partnership with other industry players. The synergy among the company plants and close collaboration between its R&D and other business units have also enabled a collection of various insights that contributed to the product development.

The reLife consists of packaging and labeling options with either PCR (chemically or mechanically recycled) content or reprocessed granules. It includes three new products: reLife PCR-Chem of PP films with chemically recycles content that is food contact compliant; reLife PCR-Mech made from mechanically recycled content and is non-food contact compliant and finally reLife RPG, a food contact compliant film constructed from reprocessed granules from internal production.

The core value of the new range is supporting the circular economy by reducing the quantity of plastic waste that could potentially end up in the environment and by saving limited fossil resources.

In addition to providing environmental benefits, the unique feature of these products is that they are suitable for most of the same applications as the traditional film grade, and they ensure the same technical function and performance.
