Abbott Label appoints customer service manager

US converter Abbott Label has promoted Leann BeVelle to customer service manager at the company’s corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. 

BeVelle enters the position with over 25 years of experience in the flexographic printing industry. She started with Curtis 1000 in 1987 and has served in various roles ranging from sales to customer service.

Founded in 1979, Abbott Label is a manufacturer of both stock and custom pressure sensitive and non-pressure sensitive labels and tags. The company does not sell directly to end user customers, instead relying on its distribution channels.

Abbott Label’s stock label selection includes over 300 items consisting of blank and colored thermal transfer rolls and fan-folded labels, direct thermal rolls and fan-folded labels, thermal ribbons, blank and colored pin-feed address labels and blank 8.5” x 11” laser sheets in a variety of die-cut configurations.

The company’s custom label capabilities include three manufacturing locations, four color process labels up to 17” wide, 8 color printing, UL / UL-C compliant labels, security labels, special adhesive labels, durable labels, flexible packaging films, printing on liner, printing on adhesive, UV coating, laminating, thousands of dies and an in-house art department.
