Label Apeel appoints sales manager

Label Apeel, the Leicester, UK-based provider of self-adhesive labels to the BWS, food, retail, personal care and healthcare sectors, has appointed a new sales manager.

Amy Chambers joins Label Apeel from fellow UK converter Labelsco, where she spent five years as a sales manager. Before that, Chambers was a packaging technologist for four years with Alliance Boots. Hailing from Nuthall, Nottinghamshire, she has a degree from LoughboroughUniversity in industrial design and technology.

‘Label Apeel is a company where I can realize my true potential,’ said Chambers. ‘I want to be a part of this business’ exciting story, which it’s fair to say is only just beginning to be told. The business is seen in the industry as unconventional yet extremely client- and quality-focused and that’s exactly why I feel I belong at Label Apeel.’

Label Apeel is pushing to expand into the BWS market, and also plans to increase its presence in the personal care and healthcare sectors.

Stuart Kellock, managing director at Label Apeel, said: ‘Having Amy on board at Label Apeel is a tremendous coup for us, and is a massive boost for the company. She will help to push the business further into the personal care and healthcare markets and support the team in food markets.’

The addition to the Label Apeel team is part of an ongoing expansion program, which the company says will see staff numbers grow again later in the year, as well as a significant planned investment in new machinery at its premises.
